WHAT IS WORKERS' COMPENSATION?

Workers' compensation is insurance that handles claims for work-related injuries. It is a financial support system established under law to provide income, medical care, and rehabilitation to employees for illness, injury, or death arising out of, and in the course of, their employment whether or not the employee was at fault.

Some of the workers' compensation essential benefits you could have with our help are:

  • Medical care

  • Temporary disability benefits – compensation for time missed from work due to your injury

WAGE & HOUR

Feeling undervalued at work isn't just about the paycheck. It's the frustration of not being compensated fairly for your time and effort. You deserve to be treated with respect, and that includes receiving the wages you've rightfully earned. If you suspect your employer is shortchanging you on minimum wage, overtime, or even forcing you to work off the clock, there are legal options available. Wage and hour class action lawsuits can be a powerful tool to hold companies accountable and ensure you get the financial restitution you deserve. We can help you navigate this process with professionalism and fight for what's fair.

SEXUAL HARASSMENT &
HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT

No one should be subjected to a work environment that feels unsafe or degrading. Sexual harassment, in its many forms, can create a pervasive sense of intimidation and humiliation. This can include unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature. Examples include:

  • Offensive jokes or comments about your body, appearance, or sexual orientation

  • Demeaning or sexual photographs displayed in the workplace

  • Unwanted physical contact, such as touching, groping, or cornering

  • Threats or propositions based on submitting to sexual advances

  • A general atmosphere of hostility or ridicule based on your gender

It can be incredibly difficult to know what steps to take, especially if your company has a specific procedure.

We understand the emotional toll this can take. You deserve to feel respected and valued at work. That's why we encourage you to follow your company's established procedures if they exist, documenting everything with clear dates and details.

If, after following company procedures, you still feel unheard or the harassment continues, we can help. Our team of experienced professionals is here to offer confidential guidance and support. We can review your situation and discuss potential legal options, empowering you to take back control and fight for the safe and professional work environment you deserve.

ADDITIONAL RESOURCES

CA WORKERS’ COMP PROGRAM:

The California Workers’ Compensation Program gives monetary benefits to workers who sustain injuries on the job or to the surviving family members of workers who die on the job. The program provides benefits without the injured party having to prove anyone’s negligence in causing the accident. The worker must simply prove an injury or illness exists and that he or she obtained it while performing job-related tasks.
